No Lavylites product contains micro-plastics. The term micro-plastics refers to solid plastic particles of diameters of less than 5mm (0.2’). Certain cosmetic companies do, indeed have such ‘particles’ for example in their peeling products. However, using micro-plastics is against Lavylites’ environmentally conscious approach, and it goes against our core values.
No, PQ7 is not considered a micro-plastic. It is a stable polymer (a macromolecule) available in liquid form. Its adhesive properties help it attach to the hair. However, this attachment is only temporary and physical in nature, and only happens on the surface of the hair filaments. Washed off PQ7 will decompose during the communal sewage water treatment procedure, and won’t be released into any natural water.
PQ7 is basically a harmless and beneficial substance. It is usually found in modern shampoo products, to prevent the static charging of the hair, thus making it easier to comb.
Basically, it acts as a quasi “lightning rod” for the hair. Due to their own static charge these molecules get temporarily attracted to the hair, and “stick out” like real lightning rods on the rooftops. This protruding end of the molecules will connect to water molecules, and thus the PQ7 molecule acts as a channel to transfer the hair’s static charge to the water molecule. However, this connection is strictly physical in nature.
The static charge of the hair is absolutely natural and unavoidable: our clothes contain plastic fibres, our shoes usually have rubber soles acting as insulators, we are exposed to electrosmog – just to name a few sources of static electricity. Beyond making the hair easier to comb, eliminating the static charge of the hair also contributes to decreasing the occurrence of those annoying electrostatic fields around us.

No Lavylites product contains synthetic nanoparticles. From yoktometre and pikometre to nanometre and above, all the way to macroclusters, all Lavylites products contain particles of all sizes – just like almost everything in nature. These natural substances are harmless to the human body – in fact, they are beneficial. Most of the surprisingly rich functionality of the Lavylites products utilise the power of these particles.

Most cosmetics producers use silicone as a film bonding agent in their shampoo and shower gel products, an optical wrinkle filter in their creams and to provide the skin with a silky smooth touch. Lavylites does not use silicone. We decided to replace silicone with non-hazardous natural oils to maintain a better natural balance.
Lavylites does not use animal-derived raw materials during the production of most of its creations, as we do not want a single animal to be killed because of us. Exceptions to this are VitaPenta Gummies (contain gelatine), Lavylo Lipbalm (contains lanolin), and our creation Haevyl 3.I (contains natural honey produced by bees).
PEG-35 castor oil is a highly safe and beneficial ingredient based on natural castor oil (Ricinus Communis Seed Oil). It is used as a surfactant, detergent and emulsifying agent. We only get our PEG-35 castor oil from carefully verified sources which guarantees that it is of natural origin and is free from contamination.
As a surfactant and detergent, it acts as a homogeniser. Its emulsifying properties facilitate the homogenisation of oils and fats in water.

The biological conditions and needs of animals vastly differ from those of us, human beings. You should not forget for example, that most animals have a much keener sense of smell, so what we, humans deem a pleasant aroma composition may be far too strong for animals. We have fine-tuned our products for human needs, and only have authorisation to market them for human application.

Yes. In most of the cases, Lavylites avoids the use of raw materials derived from animals.
Applied reasonably, overdose is highly unlikely to happen even for the most sensitive person. Naturally, anything and everything can theoretically be overdosed. Even of the most delicious and clean spring water you may not want to drink a barrelful at one go.
It should be noted that Lavylites does not subscribe to the notion of “the bigger the quantity the more effective”. Lavylites’ creations reflect a more conscious and mindful approach to life. With our products it is you, the user who is in control of determining what is proper quantity and what is too much. At times your body does, indeed need more, and other times less is perfectly enough.

Born in 1966 Tibor Jakabovics is a Hungarian research scientist with a university degree in chemical engineering who has been carrying out his own independent research and development activities. The Tibor Jakabovics Goodwill Fund aims to support developing an ever stronger network of human relationships, rather than providing ad-hoc safety nets. The Fund supported several charity projects the past six years, boosting healing and development in many a personal crisis.
The primary focus of the Fund is neither finding the financial resources nor supporting charitable organisations, but offering direct support and help, even if this involves considerable administration and other hassle. Our philosophy is that often it is not the amount of money that is important but the human attention and care delivered in time and with affection. Like an athlete who endures the hell of being confined to bed for years after an accident until they find the treatment they need to recover.
